Cabrini Mission Foundation Names New Executive Director
Sr. Diane Olmstead, MSC, Provincial, Guadalupe Province is pleased to announce that as of September 17, 2018 Christopher A. LaBianco joined the Cabrini Mission Foundation as the Executive Director. Christopher will be attending the upcoming Provincial Assembly. The Guadalupe Province extends a warm welcome to Christopher and wishes him every success.
Jaiswal Receives LeadingAge, New York Employee of Distinction Award
Niharika Jaiswal, Chief Clinical Dietician at Cabrini of Westchester, was presented with the 2018 Employee of Distinction Award from LeadingAge New York, part of a national association of 5, 500 not-for-profit organizations. With her husband at her side and a baby on the way, Ms. Jaiswal graciously accepted the award on September 20th at a celebration held in her honor. This prestigious award is given to an employee who excels in her/his profession and who has served with distinction and made significant contributions to the betterment of services for the aged and infirmed. Cabrini Retreat Center staff represented all the Missionary Sisters’ Chicagoland missions at the Archdiocesan Life and Justice Day on September 15th.
Cardinal Cupich encouraged the over 100 attendees “to collaborate with one another, and in doing so help fight for a new reality where all people are guaranteed the right to have life and have it abundantly.” As Pope Francis said during his papal visit to Bolivia, “The rights of the planet, and the right to shelter and work, for all our brothers and sisters are sacred right worth fighting for.” [Read more…]

Sr. Marisel makes her 1st Profession of Vows
Sr. Marisel Mora made her first profession of vows on August 11, 2018 with her family and Missionary Sisters in attendance. Sr. Marisel did her novitiate in West Park, NY but decided to take her vows in Collegio Sagrado Corazon (Sacred Heart), a beautiful church in her hometown. [Read more…]
