As Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus we have a special apostolic focus upon women, children, frail elders and immigrants.
The cry of the poor and the excluded, abandoned or marginalized children, suffering elders, the tragedy of so many of our immigrant brothers and sisters; the exploitation of women and the modern day slavery of human trafficking challenge the Cabrinian community and urge us to move forward.
We MSCs and laity are called to respond “ardently and swiftly” to these cries, entering new spaces of missionary activity wherever life is most threatened.
As MSCs we have committed ourselves to the service of a missionary plan that involves all our ministries in concrete actions and constant discernment of human and economic resources in order to be a prophetic sign of hope for the Reign of God in today’s world.
