What attracted me to a life as a Missionary Sister:
A visitation to the sisters’ convent. Their welcoming spirit, hospitality and prayerfulness and love of the Sacred Heart.
Experience that convinced me that religious life was the right path for me:
I felt the call at my confirmation. The desire to enter and serve the Lord has always been with me.
Favorite prayer or scriptural quote:
Prayer: Hail Holy Queen. Quotes: From various seasonal books that deepen my prayer life.
Favorite way to pray:
In my room, with the door closed , in silence.
Blessings and challenges of community life:
Being in an international community. Meeting Sisters of diverse cultures. The honesty of sister friends who help me to grow.
What I love most about being an MSC:
Being with God’s people. Having people entrusting their hardships, and joys, and praying with them.
Best loved ministry:
All – east or west – meeting divers people and doing diverse jobs.
What I do for enjoyment:
Going to movies. Watching mysteries on TV. Going to museums. Being outdoors with nature and the beautiful mountains.
People might be surprised to know that I:
My favorite food is a good Italian meal!
My advice for those who are in discernment:
Pray – take the time and go with your heart. Yo will know what God wants – not that all is given at once.
