• AP Scholar: 10 students earned recognition by receiving scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.
• AP Scholar with Honor: 4 students earned this award by maintaining an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams.
• AP Scholar with Distinction: 3 students achieved this honor by maintaining an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams.
AP Club of Excellence
This honor recognizes students who earned a 4 or 5 on any AP Exam during their time at Cabrini. This year, 16 students were inducted, representing excellence across a wide range of subjects including AP English Literature & Composition, AP English Language & Composition, AP Psychology, AP World History, AP U.S. History, AP Biology, and AP Spanish Language & Culture. We also proudly recognize our Cabrinian educators whose commitment to preparing students for success makes these achievements possible.
College Board National Recognition Program
Cabrini High School is also proud to celebrate juniors and seniors who earned the 2025 College Board National Recognition Program Award for their exceptional academic accomplishments. To qualify, students must take the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and/or AP exams by the end of 10th grade, maintain a GPA of 3.3 or higher, and demonstrate academic excellence by either scoring among the top 10% of test takers or earning a score of 3 or higher on two or more AP exams taken in 8th–10th grade.
This prestigious recognition reflects not only their academic strength but also their determination and Cabrini spirit. We are thrilled to honor these outstanding Crescents for representing Cabrini on a national level.
The Holy See has designated a number of Jubilee Days throughout 2025 to recognize and celebrate different groups of people and various ministries in the Church. The Jubilee of Consecrated Life will be held from Wednesday, October 8, to Thursday, October 9, 2025.
The mural, created by Adam Cvijanovic, pays tribute to generations of immigrants who came to New York in search of faith and hope. It is the first major work of art commissioned for the Cathedral since the installation of its bronze doors in 1949. The mural prominently features Mother Cabrini among the immigrants. nearly two decades, Cardinal Dolan has shepherded the people of New York with his characteristic warmth, humor, and steadfast devotion to the Church. Appointed Archbishop of New York in 2009 and elevated to the College of Cardinals in 2012, his leadership has touched countless lives, not only in our Archdiocese but across the world. From his boyhood sense of vocation in St. Louis to his nearly 50 years of priestly service, Cardinal Dolan’s life reflects unwavering faith. He has also shown a deep affection for Mother Cabrini and her mission. As Sr. Pietrina Raccuglia, MSC, Chair, Cabrini Mission Foundation, shared during his introduction, the Cardinal warmly received a relic of our foundress shortly after becoming Cardinal of New York, beginning a friendship that continues to this day. His presence and support have been a blessing, and this year we joyfully honored him for his lifetime of service to God’s people.
true builder of both structures and community, Vincent Iannelli represents the strength of tradition and the power of service. Beginning as a teenager working alongside his father and uncle in the family’s construction business, Vincent rose with his brother Tom to lead Iannelli Construction, one of New York’s premier public works contractors. Yet, beyond the buildings he has helped raise, Vincent has built a life rooted in family, faith, and generosity. For over fourteen years, he has served as a trustee of the Cabrini Mission Foundation, offering both leadership and vision. His service extends far beyond Cabrini, including a number of roles he has held with other community organizations. His dedication, integrity, and commitment to community embody Mother Cabrini’s spirit of service.
This year, National Migration Week takes place September 22-28 and culminates with the World Day of Migrants and Refugees (WDMR). Although WDMR typically occurs on the last Sunday of September, this year it will take place on October 4-5 to coincide with the Jubilee of Migrants. The primary theme for this year’s WDMR is “Migrants, missionaries of hope,” which “highlights the courage and tenacity of migrants and refugees, who bear witness daily to hope for the future despite difficulties.”
