Next month, Cabrini Immigrant Services will join immigrant advocacy groups from across the nation in Washington, DC, to rally in support of our immigrant community! On April 18, the Supreme Court will hear opening arguments for the case about DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) and DAPA (Deferred Action for Parent of Americans), two programs that let undocumented immigrants with strong ties to the US live and work here without fear of deportation. President Obama announced these programs in 2014, but they’ve been caught up in lawsuits until now. We’re gathering as many people as possible to show the Supreme Court and the whole country how vital these programs are for our families! If you live in New York and want to come with us, we have a free bus that will go just for the day! You can register for a seat here: http://bit.ly/cabrini-bus.
