 Cabrini Mission Corps, (CMC), founded in 1990, is a lay missionary program sponsored by the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (MSCs). CMC Missioners are women and men responding to the church’s universal call to holiness with a special desire to serve others.
In creating CMC, the sisters invite lay people to live and work side-by-side with them in community and in ministering to those in need. Since its founding, more than 100 lay missioners have journeyed with Cabrini Mission Corps, in the United States and in overseas missions, sharing their gifts and talents in health care, child care, education, social services, outreach to the elderly and many other forms of service. ----- Cabrini Mission Corps |
