On Friday, Nov. 4, Cabrini University will host the second Cabrini Visionaries Gala, honoring the power of education and celebrating the individuals who embody the true spirit of Cabrini.
Proceeds from the black-tie-optional celebration will go toward enhancing the student experience, helping to serve Cabrini’s mission of providing an Education of the Heart for our students.
The event, held at the Sheraton Valley Forge, will begin at 6pm and will feature cocktails, dinner, an auction, and dancing, and the evening’s program will include the presentation of the Christopher Award for Extraordinary Leadership; theLuminary Award; and the inaugural Compass Award.
The Christopher Award for Extraordinary Leadership
Named in reference to Mother Cabrini’s dream of launching a ship, The Christopher, to carry Christ’s message throughout the world, the Christopher Award for Extraordinary Leadership is given to those individuals whose life’s work embodies Cabrini core values of access to education and service to others.

The Luminary Award
With a name inspired by the definition of “luminary” as someone who inspires or lights the way for others, the Luminary
Award is given to an alumna/alumnus who has graduated within the previous 20 years and recognizes those who have inspiration success in their careers, in their communities, and in their impact on others’ lives.
