MSC Extended Council Meeting
Dates: September 26 – October 3, 2010
Strategic Planning for a Prophetic Future

Some of the objectives of this Extended Council meeting will be:
 To confront difficult situations and crises as both challenge and opportunity for creative solutions
 To develop realistic criteria for the use of our human, financial and institutional resources
 To develop our capacity to make radical decisions courageously and boldly
 To develop an on-going culture of prophetic planning

The Reid Group, a Catholic group for Leadership Development and Prophetic Planning, will provide both input and facilitation for this meeting. The meeting will take place at St. Ignatius Jesuit Retreat House 251 Searingtown Road Manhasset, NY 11030. Phone: (516) 621-8300 Fax: (516) 621-7201

The opening liturgy for the Extended Council will take place at St. Cabrini Shrine in NYC on Sunday, September 26th at 1:00 p.m. The celebrant will be Bishop Dennis Sullivan. All are invited to attend.

Please keep everyone who will attend this meeting in prayer as preparations are being made for this next step in discerning the movement of the Spirit and the will of God for us as an Institute.
