Dr. Marie Angelella George, College President, presented Sr. Mary Louise Sullivan, MSC, Ph.D., President Emerita, with an engraved crystal bowl citing her &quo;dedication to Cabrini College and service to the community.&quo; President George also wrote in the Commemorative Journal: &quo;Sister Mary Louise, ... “Passionately and swiftly, you follow in the footsteps of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini in providing students an 'education of the heart'.&quo; There were several testimonials followed by Sr. Sullivan regaling the guests with stories of young Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus attending Cabrini College summer classes back in the ‘50s and ‘60s. Sr. Mary Louise concluded : &quo;Those were the days, my friends …&quo; Peals of laughter followed and a good time was had by all. |
