Closing Prayer:
Lord Jesus, you were merry with your friends at Cana of Galilee and you delighted in the random play of flocking children. Indeed, you playfully taunted your disciples as to where they might find food for an enormous, unexpected supper-crowd. Teach us how to play and make merry! Brush your hand upon our eyes that we might delight in the lilies of the field, the sparkle of the lake, the grain on the wheat, the friend's head upon our shoulder. Help us not to care for the 'morrow, but, as trusting children of our prodigal Father, to take each day as His gift received in peace, joy and celebration. Amen.
