The conference will begin with lunch at noon on Monday, April 30 and conclude at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1.
The conference package fee is $279 for a single and $209 for a double, including the program, lunch and dinner on Monday, hotel room, and breakfast and lunch on Tuesday.

Our Conference Theme for 2007
"Serving as Co-Workers in the Vineyard of the Lord"

This year's leadership conference will focus on the recent document published by the bishops of the United States entitled, Co-Workers in the Vineyard of the Lord. The major themes of personal call, communion and mission will be explored in light of the Cabrini charism to be "bearers of the love of Christ in the world." A practical focus on the opportunities and challenges faced by ministry leaders today such as "compassion fatigue" will also be explored on both personal and organizational levels.

Cindy Heine, MPS, MBA
Cindy began her ministry career in 1985 and has served in various ministry roles including religious studies teacher, hospital chaplain, director of pastoral care and mission integration. Cindy served for eight years as Vice President, Mission Integration for the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA. Cindy Heine is a healthcare mission leader with a varied background and executive experience in areas such as mission education, ministry formation, marketing/communication, pastoral care and community benefit. Holding Master’s degrees in both Pastoral Studies and Business Administration allows her a unique business-like perspective on ministry issues. Cindy has served on various local and national boards as well as the leadership formation administrative committee of the Catholic Health Association. She is a national and international speaker and has most recently presented a paper at the international conference on Catholic Social Thought and Management entitled Fostering Middle-level Thinking in Catholic Healthcare: An Evaluation Of One Health System’s Leadership Development and Formation Efforts, at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas (Angelicum), Rome, Italy. Cindy is a native Louisianan and enjoys traveling, wine tasting and spending time with her family.
Charlotte McCorquodale, Ph.D.
Charlotte McCorquodale began her professional career in Catholic youth ministry in 1981. For the past twenty five years, she has worked in parish, school, and diocesan ministry settings, in the dioceses of Los Angeles, Lake Charles, Galveston-Houston, and Mobile. She has served on various national boards and committees, including as Chair of the Board of Directors for the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry (NFCYM). She has authored various resources published by the NFCYM entitled, Lay Ecclesial Youth Ministers: Taking the Next Step, A Brief Summary of a Research Study on Lay Ecclesial Youth Ministers in the Roman Catholic Church in the United States, Hiring A Catholic Youth Minister: Fifteen Steps to Success and most recently, she did the data analysis for and co-authored the report: National Study of Youth and Religion: Analysis of the Population of Catholic Teenagers and Their Parents. In 2001, she received her Ph.D. from the School of Human Resource Education and Workforce Development at Louisiana State University. The title of her dissertation is The Emergence of Lay Ecclesial Youth Ministry as a Profession in the Roman Catholic Church. Presently, Charlotte serves as president of the board of directors for Ministry Training Source, a nonprofit organization committed to the education and formation of lay ecclesial ministers. As co-founder and president for Ministry Training Source, she serves as an international trainer and consultant for the field of lay ecclesial ministry and youth ministry.
